To make Marion County a better place to live by developing, administering, and maintaining safe, decent, affordable housing for its citizens.

The Marion County Housing Authority is a non-profit corporation with the three Marion County Commissioners as its board of directors. The agency, financed primarily with state and federal grants and loans, works with builders, local banks and a variety of other community partners to build and maintain affordable housing to match with eligible families and individuals.
MCHA also provides housing assistance to low income families, elderly people and people with disabilities who reside in the Marion County area (excluding the cities of Salem and Keizer as well as County administered lands within in the Urban Growth Boundary). Click here for Map.
